We found Tom the area that's lively, but we're still not sure what we're looking for. The Wren building is our best guess, but without having any other direction, it's hard to do much else.

We're running out of time. We've seen the videos and went looking around Claremont for the scorpion house or some other clues and couldn't find anything but it was dark. We basically have most of tomorrow before we have to start heading back so if anyone has any breakthroughs or insights, tonight would be a really good time to share.

Incidentally (or not, lolol) dolst's twitter now says: Guess Again, Neophytes. Getting All Dicey, Incidentally. Dolst Doesn't Like Extremes!
Guess what the first letter of each word spells? Yeah. So is he.. possessed? Or .. well. Whatever. Now we need to focus on ... jeez. I can't even keep track anymore. What's left unsolved?
EDIT: Commented on dolst's youtube:
dolst (40 minutes ago) Spam
faceless freak didN't count on my "wandEring" diD he? my body is right where he left it.
but i think i'll have soMe fun in thIs one for right now. maybe throw a spaNner in the works.

The stuff in Go Green is still unsolved. If it's supposed to be the lock and the sting rar is the key, the info should come from the picture and the cipher, but if there's nothing left in Williamsburg the cipher is probably junk now. He's leaving a lot of stuff today, but it just seems like challenges, not more clues. The ides of march are tomorrow though. Who knows?

I'm just gonna sit back 'n relax, I have too much to do, and join the hunt isn't one of my priorities.
I was gonna say that dolst might be bipolar, but...I take that back. >_<
Offline
Nah. He told us to move on - maybe it's the next step we need to take. Maybe there legitimately is nothing left in Williamsburg (which I haven't really been around to watch your progress, but I'll update myself on that soon.) - but there could still be something important, a URL or something, in Go Green.
@Hunter - jw, what text did you use to decipher the stuff in Sting?

Oh, yeah. I was meaning to say this, but I kept forgetting. The Willamsburg stuff popped up right after I got home from school. In Social Studies, that day, I was studying Williamsburg.
Offline
It was a plaque that we found when we followed the instructions in 1clueb - the stuff about 3 o'clock to the gift of '27 and all that. We were in the general area that the next clue gave and we found a bunch of things that could've been passwords to the rars but no cake. We went home, I slept, and then when I woke up we found the gangadiddle video and we went to claremont. The only lead any of us see right now is Dolst's personal information.
If gogreen isn't important anymore, then we are really hurting for clues.

Okay, so using the text as a cipher, the code translates to:
A = full circle
B = boiling at c-level
N = a/(b+(b/5))
A=360
B=100
N=3

if you meet tom, you have gone too far.
if things seem lively, you have gone way too far!
take route 360 to 3
"watch your port bow" = "its on the left side"?
* What is the land of history?
* Tom could be that repair shop or something completely different.
* Things seeming lively could be the Crazy Crab - at the end of route 360.

What is this I don't even.

Found the numbers, did not even consider them as state highways. Looks like that's where we're headed.

Good luck today, Hunter. Awesome work, Ananchi. :O Good insight. So perhaps by saying we need to "move on" from Williamsburg, it's probably in reference to this physical location?
Offline
Yes. We just found the scorpion house, it was on historyland road, east of the juntion of highways 3 and 360. Here is a picture (house number 8716):

It opens up both gogreen files.
So now we are tearing down the highway to Brunswick.

I'm KRD
Anyways, sorry if this is old news but I didn't see anyone mention it yet. Does anyone know what this song is?
http://www.mediafire.com/?jjdqhjlwjxi
That was the audio to the video Mistake. I just reversed it and sped it up. I don't really know what they're saying it in other than the "oh lord" at the end.
Offline
@KRD - It's the song from Robot Unicorn Attack, but heavily distorded, apparently. : P
@Hunter - you are a godsend!
The directions for 3clue seem pretty straight forward. I'm guessing you're supposed to drive down Dry Bread, which becomes Brunswick and leads into Emporia? Then taking 301 in which direction...? Idk, I hear Star of David and think "synagogue", but I doubt there's one there. >_> Annnd after googling, yeah.
There's a HUGE confederate memorial (honor the rebel?) on the north end of Main Street in front of a courthouse. But maybe that's a sign you've gone too far? In fact, 315 is the building number for that courthouse - while their traffic court is building number 301. Coincidence, maybe, but I suppose something to look out for anyway. Good luck, guys. : )

The memorial clearly must be the building referenced in the riddle--it has a star of David, honors rebels, and is in the right location. "Meet me at 3:01" does indeed sound like it should read, "Meet me at 301," which would be the traffic court. Nice work.
"Honor the rebel if you wish, but he's not the one with the big guns." I wonder, does that just mean that you aren't supposed to go there, or does "big guns" reference something physical?

KRUPP is the password, the group that put the big gun or artillery from world war one on the memorial thing was KKUPP. The next clue looks daunting, if you put the thing into youtube it reveals yet another youtube channel dolst has, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvJC5CuRZDw is the video, there are two others as well.
We're in a subway south of Richmond, we simply have no time left. At least we helped a bit. Once we get home I'll post more pictures and I can certainly answer any other questions any future hunters have or anyone for that matter.
Offline
Backwards, the username spells: Maymont Park. I'm assuming thats where videos One - Six were filmed... It's in Richmond. Thank you so much for your help, Hunter. Now I guess we need to recruit more people. : P But at least we know the location of the park we'll "never find". |3
Annotations on the video read:
One (monument): Don't bother. You will never find it.
Two (grotto): Just go home and play video games. You will never find the Gangadiddle.
Three (pergola): You are not even close. The Gangadiddle eludes you.
Four (statue): Do you really think you can find the Gangadiddle?
Five (bench): Save yourself the humiliation and withdraw now. You know this is hopeless.
Six (bench): It's no use.
>:3 maybe the gangadiddle is under that bench!!
EDIT: Um. Trying to figure out again how you did the last cipher again, Hunter. Sorry. Like, what type of cipher is it? How are you getting those results? x: JW.

New dolst video. He's pretty pissed . . . on the outside. The video is called VIDEO_273 and the description is:
tHe hunt is over. wE had fun, but you realLy need to stoP now.
there is no point in looking anymore. it's all over with. go home. the game is over. game over. you lost. fail.

The capitalized letters are not exactly subtle (they spell HELP). Remember when the puppet dolst was assimilated, and he managed to whisper "help" in his video? Obviously there are ways of getting messages out.
Importantly, this probably means the numbers are a coded message from dolst, not from the G.
Simple alphabetic substitution (A=1, B=2, etc.) gives [E]F K G H L A M L, which isn't particularly helpful. It isn't an anagram for anything. I haven't been following the ciphers, though, so I don't know if there is a consistent code used here. That's not really my thing.
E: "Lima Vulcans fire in this order." What does that mean? Some Googling gives results as diverse as a type of grass and Ford Vulcan engines which were made in Lima, OH. That one might make sense if we consider the order the pistons fire in or something.
E2: It just occurred to me that reverse image searches like Tineye could perhaps help find the places shown in the videos. If you can get a decent screenshot of a significant place in a video, there is a chance Tineye could match it up to a picture online, allowing us to identify it. It might be worth a try.
E3: New video called VIDEO_275.mp4
Description:
I must applaad you. Nice going, people buT it Will all bE in vain. You realLy should haVE sussed it out faster. Pity, you cAn't figuRe Things out Sooner.

The capitalized letters alone spell out "NTWEYLVEPARTS," but if you ignore "Nice" and "You" since they begin sentences, you get "TWELVEPARTS," that is, "twelve parts." I don't know if that refers to the KrapTNomYam videos or what. ALso of onte, he misspelled "applaud" as "applaad," but that might just be an error.
Finally, the tag is 1337 for "help hidden in x mission." I don't know what that means, either.
