Hey I hope everyone had a safe and fun St. Patty's Day. First off, I just wanted to add something that I never felt got addressed, and that is the full text of the gun monument at the Emporia courthouse with the kk/kr thing. I'd hate to think that we might need it, and it never got posted. Anyway, it's available at http://www.hmdb.org/marker.asp?marker=19181 the Historical Marker Database. We may be able to use that site in the future, should we need to find the texts of more markers, plaques, etc.
Just for completeness' sake, I'll post the text I got off that site:
This gun is a memorial to the Veterans of the 1914-1918 World War I
A captured Imperial German Army 150 mm field artillary cannon manufactured by Kkupp Works in 1917
Many thousands of Americans and Allied young men gave their lives in France to enemy fire from weapons like this to make the world safe for democracy
Placed here by local Veterans of Bulla Post 46 American Legion in 1925
On permanent loan by U.S. Army
It is one of 8 allocated as memorials to these brave soldiers and veterans
May they rest in peace
Repaired and painted by Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 1779 March 1998
Anyway, as far as the "twelve parts", I had a thought. What if 1UP and north didn't refer just to the first letter, but actually, all of the first section, like [1]n o r t h?
In which case, we'd get this:
[1]n o r t h
[2]6 7 8 9 8 t 10
[3]t 8 11 7 r 12
[4]h 6 9 13 10 o n
[5]6 11 7 8 12 n 13 12
[6]n 8 h 8 9 8 14 11
[7]8 15 12 6
[8]14 13 8 n t 8 9 9 6
[9]r 6 15 8 o 9 o 16 10
[10]6 13 13 9 8 11 6 t 12
[11]12 17 12 n t 18 6 9
[12]9 6 n 16 18 8 14 h
I still have no idea if that's any help or not, or if it's even right, but it does fit.
Edit: I just realized that the whole kk/kr thing is because it was KRUPP works in Germany that built that gun, not KKUPP, as there doesn't seem to be such a thing. I think HM was pointing out the spelling error with that clue. Also, "artillary" is incorrect. It's "artillery". And none of it probably even matters! LOL
Edit 2: Full size photo here, just in case you want to see it: http://www.hmdb.org/PhotoFullSize.asp?PhotoID=64066
Edit 3: OOG for just a second: Something else JUST caught my eye about that photo on hmdb: "By Bernard Fisher, May 9, 2009"
Gangadiddle youtube and michaelfiltersgabriel.wordpress.com both have creation dates of May 12, 2009. Coincidence? Hmmmmmmmm.......
Is it possible that this might be dolst's true identity? I'm going to be looking up Bernard Fisher. hehehehe

By George, I think he's done it!
Looking at [6], N x H x y x... x must be a vowel. A limited number of English words start with naha, nehe, nihi, noho, nuhu -> I can only think of prefix nihil-, so here are my results for all English words starting with nihil and fitting the pattern in [6]...

I see part of "utility" for the second word. Plug away.

Hehehe, why the hell not?
Congratulations everyone - we beat my robot to the answer! it had calculated every permutation of letters that fit the pattern given and was searching through to find ones containing English n-grams - a very slow process. As a side effect though, I have the largest text file I've ever created...

Nah, this was simply a new puzzle I think we were supposed to figure out. Gogreen was solved, I believe, and found to have kr-not-kk inside of it. The only thing we have left to solve right now is The Lock in kr-not-kk.

The password for kr-not-kk.rar (i.e. to get The Lock.txt and The Key.jpg) is 'krupp'

Oh, wow, I did not know that. Thanks. I was wondering how they found that video.
E: OH, now it makes sense, OK. So the name is supposed to be used in The Lock somehow? But we haven't solved The Lock yet, so I guess that's our next step.

nah, bro - his name is just to free him from the binding. notice maymont park vids are the key, The Lock is ... well the lock. its coded. the key to decoding it is the inscriptions from maymont park. read back a few posts of mine - i explain everything with that on pg 14 or 15, i think. its not seeming to translate - however, it seems the end is a file extension. it translates to .tga when i tried it manually, which Jam pointed out is a type of image file... but idk. 2 AM, just wrote big paper, really tired. gonna go to bed. ill explain more later or you can just read the posts up there somewhere. like i said, the lock is just another one of those "take inscription, number each letter, and translate w/ code" puzzles - like the Isolated one, or the one Hunter1 solved.

Yeah! That's the one I got when I did it with the typo corrected... I'm still trying to understand what it means. >_< Do you think thats the correct one? Me and Jam were talking today, and it's possible that the file we're looking for is a targa... but where the hell do the brackets come in?

If you are reading this, then do this real quick if you haven't already:
Looks like the owner of robloxhq.com forgot to renew his domain name. Add these two lines to your hosts file until he fixes that:
174.132.171.221 robloxhq.com
174.132.171.221 forums.robloxhq.com
Thanks to GacktFan over at TDRL for posting that. I don't know if anyone can even get here now without doing that, but in case your DNS isn't updated yet and you got lucky, then do that so you can still come here until the owner renews the name. And for some odd reason, just using the IP address gives you a host gator 404 page. I don't know how that works, but just using the IP doesn't. :-/
Anyway, is dolst dead now? Or is he "just resting" for awhile? I hope he's ok. I've spent the last couple days boxing stuff up. I leave today for Minnesota. I'll be away from this for a few days at least. Shame too, caus it looks like it's getting good now! Oh well, in case I'm gone for awhile, surf wisely! LOL.
Edit:
favorited some vids
"3 not 4" seems to be the common theme between them. I don't have time to watch them, but if it's like the Beyonce and Creed vids, I bet it's the title not the content that matters. 3 not 4. Oh well, I'll think about it over the next few days and I'm sure it'll hit me when I'm in the middle of nowhere with no net access. I hope my partner has a notebook with wifi.
