._. Didn't you read my post above? The bytecodes are what we're going to put together to receive the name of the s33k3rs primary binding master. Each time we find a new one, the next one is released, until we have all 7.

Well, I saw the image on Deviant and I saved it to my computer. There's two byte sizes. The first byte size "15107" and the second byte size, which is the byte size on disk "16384". Together, that makes 15107 16384. I honestly don't know if this helps at all because to be honest, I've never worked with bytecodes or anything nor do I know how to translate them. This might be helpful and it might not be helpful.

I know this is old news, but . . . have you ever actually been on 4chan? Sauce always means source.

Anyway, I'm impressed jalebi decoded this much so quickly. I wonder, though, is there any particular meaning to 066? It has come up a few times.

And for what it's worth, you cannot realistically decode a full 10 character case-sensitive tripcode with trip explorer in a reasonable amount of time. Even worse, there are a large number of passwords that all map to the same tripcode (many of which use Japanese characters), so you still wouldn't know which was the right one.

E: 16384 bytes is exactly 16k or 32 512 byte blocks (POSIX standard block size). So it is 2^14 bytes = 2^17 bits. I don't know what the significance of this is, or of the other number.

Oh, I know it doesn't happen in any reasonable amount of time. Brute force always takes days. .___. I figured it'd be a waste of time but had it running for aboot a day anyway, just to see if any results showed up.. alas, nothing. But whatever, DY told us its not a trip anyway! : D So we're in the clear. Woo woo!

Have we heard anything more about a second bytecode, or perhaps word on Foxfiend? He fell quiet pretty quickly when we figured out what was going on..

: P Yeah, I got that one and was able to save it as a .rar. It gave us failsafe.gif, the actual image, and then from there DY was able to point us towards the fact that it was infact a YT video ID - the hint for the first bytecode. Now, we wait. :3

By the way, you do have great taste in music, but your comment is pointless and, to be quite honest, a bit mean-spirited and childish.

In other news, where should we look for the next bytecode? If DY has been put to sleep and Dolst only remembers the Hunt randomly, how long will we be waiting? Also, any update on anyone being able to trek to VA and find that sign/monument thing?

And finally, in my inane ramblings, has anyone figured out what the first bytecode means? The symbols have me scratching my wooden head. :-/ Guess we need all 5 before we can decode it maybe.

If someone in a position of power here actually does decide to delete this thread or whatever (Mods, if you're reading this, PLEASE DON'T!) then we still have that board. But it's a graveyard atm, and new Hunters seem to find their way through RobloxHQ, as it has the most comprehensive and exhaustive record of the Hunt so far.

Anyway, I'm out for now. I guess we wait for the failsafe to feed us the next bit of info.

Theres a post on MFG now about "where'd you guys go," or something. Connected to that is the Soon video - I can only see it in an email I got though. When I try to view Soon, I can't. The vid's private. So I dunno what to do. ):

Not entirely sure, but when I got an email updating me about a new comment on MFG (I'm subscribed through emails), Soon was at the bottom. I'll screen it.

Jalebi, that blog always linked to "Soon." That's how I found it, actually; that blog was the only result when I googled "gangadiddle" the first time.

Anyway, bd3g is definitely the clue. Not sure what to do with it yet.

I just checked on that first one cuz I was sure it had "3g" in it and not "g3" cuz I remembered thinking of my old 3g phone (which died) and sure enough, i checked P&P1 and you got the 3 and g switched. ;-) So it's actually:

First letter of each spells out bytec0 which looks like part of "bytecode" maybe.
