As for the bytecodes, I tried converting the image numbers (in the new order) into their respective letters, but it comes out to be "G E A B F D C," which I very much doubt is a name.
I'll see if I can think of anything else.

None of this is as gay as using "gift" as a verb, nor nearly as gay as playing Roblox. Let me quote Wikipedia's first two sentences:
Roblox is a massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) virtual playground and workshop designed for children aged 10 and over. Players can build games with blocks, in various shapes, sizes and materials.
I'm pretty sure this is a photo of SPEArman:

Spearman, Get out of the thread and leave them alone, we're lucky to just even have mature people here, regardless if they like the forums or bother to lurk other stuff, Even if they never do, which i can understand why, you attempting to troll them isn't helping, and quite really i despise you and your attitude in general towards people, and you really can't understand what a warning is or a ban, can you
As for the others, just ignore him, he's usually like this to people and responding won't help much. hope he wasn't a bother

Not exactly. It's an Alternate Reality Game, which is basically a clue-finding and code-solving game, a slowly-evolving story, and an RP presented as a "real" series of events. Think of it as if Marble Hornets were a game.

If you go to gangadiddle.proboards.com, you can get caught up pretty quickly. Technically there is already a fairly long and convoluted story, but it isn't complicated (just bizarre) and you don't really have to know it perfectly anyway. We really could use some help, especially now that we've lost a couple hunters and I've become too busy to do much.
As for these bytecodes, given dolst's last text, it's pretty clear they are in hex. There are a couple ways I can think of converting them.
As integers:
1: 2649
2: 89
3: 94
4: 25
5: 313
6: 153
7: 94
Digit-by-digit:
1: 10 5 9
2: 5 9
3: 5 15
4: 1 9
5: 19 9
6: 9 9
7: 5 15
I'm still not sure what to make of it, though. I don't know why the first one seems to have three digits while the others have just two. It can't be ASCII because most of the numbers are too high, and 19 is too low. (In ASCII, 0x19 is the delete character.)

Of course this is morse code, changed into commas and slashes due to Wordpress's comment system mangling dots and dashes.
That makes the morse code this:

Okay so I tried to post this earlier and the boss walked in, so I lost most of the original post cos I had to close the tab so he wouldn't see. hehe.
Anywayyyyyyyyyy...
I was looking up hex on wikipedia and read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexadecimal and it had a line that got me thinking:
Wikipedia Article wrote:
In situations where there is no context, a hexadecimal number might be ambiguous and confused with numbers expressed in other bases.
1: a 5 9
2: 5 9
3: 5 e
4: 1 9
5: 13 9
6: 9 9
7: 5 e
Any single-digit number will still be the same, and the letters are obviously standard hex notation.
But I was looking at bytecode 5 and realized that if the whole thing is in hex, then 13 isn't 13 at all, it's actually 19!!
That gives us:
1: 10 5 9
2: 5 9
3: 5 14
4: 1 9
5: 19 9
6: 9 9
7: 5 14
Also, the post on MFG about "hex yes, ascii no" makes me think maybe good old letter-number substitution, ex: a=1, b=2, etc. So if the numbers represent their corresponding letters, we get:
1: j e i
2: e i
3: e n
4: a i
5: s i
6: i i
7: e n
Does this make the s33k3r's name Jeieienaisiiien? I'm not so sure about that. "Zarek" and "Rudolfo" are unusual names but they are real names that you can find on Google. "Jeieienaisiiien" is not.
Have to run, but I will do more when I get home. We're really down to the wire here, but I think we can figure this out.
I hope I'm at least on the right track here.

Well, I haven't been having much luck. I've tried converting the data to an RGB format (which I don't think is compatible with the length of the code anyway) just to see if I could find anything by overlaying the results over the different bytecode images, I've converted it to various different bases, and I've even tried using the cipher from "The Truth"-
With “The Truth” cipher:
1: i d n
2: d n
3: d v
4: w n
5: a(13)/h(19) n
6: n n
7: d v
-but I can't seem to find an answer. I also spent most of the day combing through our sources for clues as to what system we should use, but that didn't turn out well either. I still feel like there may be more to Dolst's "HEXed" tweet, though.
I'm probably missing something really obvious...
EDIT: Used the code for "What" just for the hell of it, and... it makes even less sense.
With “What” cipher:
n d g
d g
d v
w g
r(13)/k(19) g
g g
d v
So, yes, this is probably not where I should be looking.
EDITEDITEDITEDIT!!!!: The master just made a new tweet.
el ii ti ti ii ar es
After a bit of work, I realized that when I sounded it out, it sounded like "letters." I then tried the same method on
1: jei
2: ei
3: en
4: ai
5: si
6: ii
7: en
-and I came up with:
1: j
2: a
3: n
4: i
5: c
6: e
7: n
I KNEW it was something obvious! I can't believe we missed that!
...I mean, it is stil possible that I am wrong, but this name seems plausible enough.
Unfortunately, I can't pass this on to the s33k3rs right now, but we have two more days, so I can wait until morning.
EDIT: Well, Eebster told them what we found, and: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv9eAe6Dngc

Sweet! I decided to check the Youtubes and found the s33k3rs' video, and dolst put one up too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP7wCGdalnk
Good work guys!
But dolst's words were kinda ominous. "They're getting desperate."
What might they try now?

dolst made a new tweet that seems interesting, I can't copy and paste it right now because I'm on my iPad. The tweet was about a song called "crossed eyed Mary" giving him a ear worm and the song is now trapped in his head for his displeasure. Poor guy. He also mentioned in a tweet earlier about him being HEXed. However, these might be out of game or not needed by us right now. Also, has anyone checked the s33k3rs twitter, lately? It's also very interestingly informative.

Hey Tinman, welcome back. About the HEXed post, yeah, that was in reference to the latest set of bytecodes which led us to the name of the 3rd s33k3r. We nailed that one. And dolst's latest video said they will be "feeding" us data about the next s33k3r.
If I understand it correctly, they can't pursue G anymore, but they are still a threat somehow. Guess we will have to wait for the next clue. More bytecodes perhaps?
Edit: Whoah the s33k3rs just crapped out a bunch of tweets!!

Hmmmm.... do you really think we've beaten them? How many of them are there anyway? We knock out 3 of them and the rest of them turn tail and run? Maybe the others aren't actively seeking (s33king? I say they're bluffing.

It would be preferable to allow their surrender, but we still are not entirely sure what they are capable of. Plus, seeing as they absorb their dead, it is possible that they will regain the lost s33k3rs' abilities. I would suggest a binding, but that could put too much strain on the Hunt Master; the last thing we need is for the Gangadiddle to get loose again.
Their destruction is likely necessary.
EDIT: I decided I'd look on Google Maps and see if I could find the location shown in B3achwalka's "Beach Stop Sign and Chessboard Dream" video. (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou … h&z=20)
You can even see the fire hydrant!

3. chessboard: no clue
4. ship: S.S. Buckroe playground (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou … h&z=20)

Wow. I was on that other Gangadiddle board, http://gangadiddle.proboards.com and I realized that we've been at this for about a year.
I just looked at the first page on this and it says Feb 20, 2010. I don't know what timezone this server is in, but I have always noticed that it seemed to be a different time than when I actually posted stuff, so maybe it has been exactly a year.

I'm pretty glad the deadline is 2013. I honestly don't think we can really trust the s33k3rs either; it doesn't seem likely that they'd just suddenly give up with such a log time to go. Plus in the description of their last video it says "We will take our revenge." you really think they'd just give up?

Okay I think I see something here. Some of these bytecodes look like letters with numbers in them. Here's my current working theory:
1: "a" with "2" in it
2: "6" with an "e" in it
3: "h" with either a "1" or an "l"
4: "5" with an "i"
5: "4" with...??? "l" maybe?
6: "3" or "m". Maybe both?
As for the 7th, it's
1232
4564
What that means, I don't know, unless it's where the numbers/letters go. But that would be way too easy. :-)
Edit:
I didn't even think about what 1whocares said when he/she posted the bytecodes:
Posting byt3cod33 and byt3cod34:

So, taking the letters that were replaced with numbers, we get:
3=e, 5=s, 1=l
But if you look at how many times they were posted, it was 3x5, 5x1, 1x1
That gives us eeesl
Going by the straight number post, it might be
L2E2
4S64
(I capitalized the letters for clarity)
I tried that as one line as a megaupload, but that didn't work. I'm still working on this. I think I'm close.
Maybe it really is as easy as putting the number/letters in their places.
